The JSAF (Japanese Sailing Federation) Enoshima Olympic Week 2016 came to a close today in Japan after 3 days of races on next Tokyo 2020 olympic waters.

Eight races were run within the three days of competition, with Matthew Wearn AUS getting first spot with 14 units (1-
8-1-1-2-3-5-1), followed by Lorenzo Brando Chiavarini GBR (4-1-2-2-1- RET-8-6) and Christopher Barnard USA (6-6-4- 11-5-1-2-4).
The racing over the past 3 days has been very close in what was some testing winds. I managed to hold my first place overall from day one to take the event out. It has been a great experience being in Japan and I am looking forward to the next 4 years.
Dongshuang Zhang CHN (1-
8-2-1-1-3-1-1) was finally winner in the Laser Radial class, followed by Gold Olympic medalist Marit Bouwmeester NED (UFD-1-1-12-2-1-6-3) and Min Gu CHN (4-2-13-8-9-4-7-2).
